You've waited all summer for this moment.Bring you're A-Game for Colorado's first and only exclusive tournament series for the high school and middle school inline hockey athlete. Brought to you by the Colorado High School Inline Hockey League, this tournament will exceed any previous attempts toward a high school division gathering. All high school teams from across the state in all league divisions will compete for the bragging rights of the Colorado SIT Championships. High school divisions will include Varsity 5A, Varsity 4A, Junior Varsity 5A, and Junior Varsity 4A. Middle school divisions will include Gold, Silver, and Bronze divisions.

Registration
- Register your middle school and high school team before the November 30, 2008 CHSIHL deadline. Please, no later than December 5, 2008 for entry to the SIT schedule.
- Tournament registration and fee must be included with your high school 2008 registration packet.
- Middle School team may submit the tournament registration with their tournament fee before or during the middle school pre-season registration (September 2008).
- All teams entered to the SIT must be enrolled in the High School or Middle School 2008-2009 league season.
- Teams will be evaluated for division placement based in part on previous league season standings and current SIT evaluation.
- Players may not move from one roster to another. All rosters are closed once submitted.. No call-up players will be permitted at SIT.

A. Create Your SIT ONLINE Team Roster CHSIHL middle school and high school coaches can log-on to thier existing team rosters and there select the SIT check box where your player fee calculation and roster confirmation can be printed and submitted to the League before Friday, December 5, 2008.
Note: All individual player, coach, and team administrator ONLINE forms must be completed and a copy submitted to the League with your high school or middle school League Registration Documentation and fees . include a printout copy of your SIT ONLINE Team Roster with tournament fee by the tournament registration deadline.

The tournament format at each age division will be dictated by the number of teams entered. Divisions based on team participation. Minimum (4) teams per division.
All teams are guaranteed to play a minimum of (3) three games.

Tournament Format
- AAU/USARS Game Rules
- (15) Fifteen player maximum roster (13-skaters, 2-goalies)
- (3) Three Game Minimum
- Two 15-minute RUNNING TIME periods with a 3-minute pre-game warm up and 1-minute intermission at the half.
- (8) Eight Goal Mercy Rule (into the second period)
- Stop time - In effect the last (2) MINUTES of the last period of a game with a (1) or less goal differential
- Regular games will end in ties. (5) Minute overtime, then shoot-out for playoff games only.
- In all divisions, points will be awarded as follows: 2 points for a win; 1 point to each team for a tie game; 0 points for a loss. In case of a mercy, the score will be recorded as 5-0.
- Games may start up to 15 minutes ahead of schedule.
- Players with (4) four PENALTIES in the game will be ejected from that game and serve a (1) game suspension.
- Gross misconduct penalties - Player will be removed from the tournament, and a AAU/USA Roller Sports review will be required to allow the player to participate in any further tournaments or league competition.
- Head to head competition, Goal differential (accumulated total in all pool play), Goals against (accumulated total in all pool play), Goals for (accumulated to total in all pool play), Fewest Penalty Minutes, Coin Flip.
- In all divisions, points will be awarded as follows: 2 points for a win; 1 point to each team for a tie game; 0 points for a loss. In case of a mercy, The score will be recorded as 8-0. No points will be awarded toward Top Award Winners.
- No re-seeding throughout the playoffs
NOTE: FIGHTING will not be tolerated . Any player involved in a fight will be suspended from the tournament. A (3) game suspension will extend to 2008-2009 CHSIHL seasons.
Playoff and Championship Games:
- Skaters must skate in (1) round-robin or playoff game to be eligible for the championship game.
- At the end of regulation, if a game is tied, there will be a 1-minute break followed by a 5-minute running time, sudden death overtime.
- If at the end of overtime the game still remains tied, there will be a 3-player shoot-out. All eligible dressed skaters from a team must shoot before that team shall be allowed to have a player shoot a second time. Both teams will continue until there is a winner. Players serving penalties at the end of the overtime are not eligible to participate.
Eligibility Protest
- During the game, the protesting team must make a formal protest to the referee before the end of the first period.
- A time out will be charged to the protesting team. The protesting team must submit a $50 protest fee.
- The referee will notify the CHSIHL staff that the eligibility of a player is under protest.
- The CHSIHL staff will provide verification of the player's eligibility before the end of the game.
- If the player in question is found to be legal;
-The protesting team will be charged the $50 protest fee.
- The protesting team will be assessed a minor penalty.
- If the player in question is found to be illegal;
-The offending team will forfeit the game.
- The $50 fee will be returned to the protesting team.
NOTE: All players must be AAU/USARS members. Verification will be checked upon arrival. If membership cannot be proven, participants will need to purchase a AAU/USARS Annual Membership at the cost of $12.00.
Required Equipment
- HECC APPROVED Ice Hockey Helmet, Hockey Gloves, Shin Guards, Elbow Pads, Athletic Supporter or Pelvic Protection (Recommended, but optional: girdle and shoulder pads)
- Mouth guard; full-face shield or cage (Mandatory for all players)
