The Varsity All-Star Game is a day of fun-filled, high energy high school varsity inline hockey competition. Comradery and team play are the rule of the day for these elite athletes of the Colorado High School Inline Hockey League. Nothing like it on the planet!

Who Is Selected?
The league's top athletes with the highest standard of good sportsmanship, athletic accomplishments, and contribution to their team. Select players will be voted by their peers and league members as a third of the selection process. Coaches will also have an opportunity to submit their recommendations for those players (not on their team) for the position of forward, and defenseman. The league directors will complete the final selection process and post the All Star participants to the league website for all to view. Got Skills?

What Does it Cost?
Nothing! Except a league season of good sportsmanship and a high standard of athletic achievement.
Academic All Stars
Reaching the top of your class. The Academic All-Star Game is an action-packed day of competition between the top academic and athletic achievement winners. These players are at the top of their class in athletic achievement while maintaining the highest standard of academic success within the Colorado High School Inline Hockey League.

Who Is Selected?
The league's top athletes with the highest standard of good sportsmanship, athletic accomplishments, academic achievement, and team contribution. Players are selected from a submitted list of the highest GPA candidates within the league. The league directors will complete the final selection process based on those players that have submitted their verified school progress reports or current report cards reflecting their current GPA scores. The Academic All Star participants will be posted to the league website for all to view.
We must receive your nominations for Academic All Star consideration no later than March 31, 2008, so please hurry!
Senior Showcase
Seniors that are ready for the next level.
The Senior Showcase Game is the best opportunity for this year's graduating class to demonstrate their ability to move to the next level of competitive inline hockey in the collegiate, amateur, and professional arena. Outside of the Varsity All Stars, these players will be viewed and judged on their athletic abilities, but most important their ability to impress those coaches, and scouts that have an interest for inclusion to their athletic programs. Good sportsmanship is critical.
Who Is Selected?
Senior Showcase players are selected from a list of all senior class participants in the CHSIHL league program. Those senior players with the highest standard of athletic achievement and sportsmanship will be eligible for this selection process. The league directors will complete the final selection process based on those players that have highest athletic achievements and team contribution.
What Does This Game Mean?
New and fantastic opportunities for the scholastic inline hockey community to demonstrate their ability to be viewed on the same level as the traditional ice hockey player. Here is your opportunity to showcase your skills to those that would have an interest in providing more than just a spot on a team. Don't blow it!
All Star Day Player Requirements
Show up and be ready to play!
Selected Varsity All Star players must be present a minimum of 30-minutes prior to the Skills Competition for Varsity All Star jersey distribution.
Those initial rostered players not present will forfeit their spot to the next available alternate player that is present at game time on the selection list at their (forward, defense, or goalie) position.
Alternates must also be present during that time to be eligible as a replacement to empty roster spots.
Jerseys are distributed on a "first-come, first-served" basis. NO EXCEPTIONS. Jersey numbers are randomly distributed based on size requirements.
Selected Academic All Stars and Senior Showcase participants must be present to receive their jerseys 30-minutes prior to the Academic All Star and Senior Showcase games. Those not present at the end of the 30-minutes will forfeit their roster spot to the next available alternate player on the selection list at their (forward, defense, or goalie) position.

RMR – Lakewood, Co – Saturday, April 12, 2008
Varsity All Star Skills Competition – 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Academic All Star Game – 6:00 PM
Senior Showcase Game – 7:00 PM
Varsity All Star Game – 8:00 PM

Reminder: The All Star events are intended to promote comradery and sportsmanship between the league's top athletes. Their may be scouts and interested collegiate coaches in the audience that will not take kindly to player demonstrating inappropriate and/or unsportsmanlike behavior.
